Transportation Commission approves engineering contracts and supplements

Commissioners approved Item 70, an engineering contract awarding on-demand railroad studies to J Web & Associates with a not-to-exceed value of $250,000, after a presentation by Mr. Wyn.

Mr. Wyn then presented Item 71, five engineering contract supplements. He said the department previously selected 10 firms for an on-demand land survey contract and that the aggregate increase for those contract supplements is $2 million. Mr. Wyn listed district-specific supplements for work on I-35 near the I-40 junction (Oklahoma County), US 64 in Beaver County, US 69 in Maize County and US 999/State Highway 11 in "Oage County"; some per-item dollar figures in the transcript were garbled and could not be reliably transcribed.
