Pendleton staff: INDOT grant approved; town to acquire parcels for State Road 67 sidewalk
Town staff updated the Redevelopment Commission on a piggyback project to add a 10‑foot sidewalk on State Road 67. The total land acquisition was appraised at about $179,450; INDOT/partner approval at an 80/20 grant split will leave the town’s acquisition cost slightly under $36,000. A consultant will complete survey and title work before individual acquisitions return to the commission for approval.
