EMS update: Ada County ambulances getting summer repaint; Eagle substation due diligence ongoing

Commissioner Davidson reported ambulances are being repainted green in preparation for summer deployment and said the vehicles appear to be functioning well. On the proposed Eagle substation, staff said due diligence has been completed, inspections did not identify significant repairs, and an appraisal and additional documents are being sought so staff can return to the board with a formal recommendation.
EMS also presented administrative personnel actions related to recent paramedic hires (a temporary double fill and a transfer) and the board approved the personnel items and the EMS claims journal dated May 29, 2026. The board approved EMS minutes for May 19, 2026 before adjourning the EMS session.
