Complete Care is treating patients at Woodbury Family Medical Center (75 W. Red Bank Ave.) and a new Williamstown location (711 Marsha Ave.), both of which offer medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) and on‑site therapy. The Glassboro site at 715 Dell Drive (Town Plaza) provides outpatient therapy only and does not offer MAT, Simkins said.
Why it matters: MAT access and required linkage with therapy can affect how quickly people with opioid use disorder begin treatment and remain engaged. Simkins described protocols intended to speed initiation of medications and ensure follow‑up care.
Program details and patient flow: Simkins listed the MAT medications offered (Suboxone, Subutex, Naltrexone and Vivitrol injections), said therapy is automatically connected to MAT patients and that urine screenings are conducted regularly. He described a rapid initiation pathway for opioid withdrawal that allows initiation of Suboxone roughly 12 hours after the last opioid use. Sublocade injections are not yet offered but may be added in the future. Simkins noted a 340B pharmacy partnership that reduces Suboxone costs for uninsured patients.
Operational notes and next steps: Visit cadence is weekly at treatment start, moving to biweekly and then monthly once patients stabilize, Simkins said. He directed board members and partners to contact Megan Spinelli or himself for follow‑up questions about referrals, pharmacy access and any planned expansions.
The Complete Care overview was presented early in the meeting as part of routine provider updates; no formal board action on these service offerings was taken at the April 21 session.
