Spring parks board keeps leadership, greenlights staffing and readies summer playground program
The Township of Spring Parks and Recreation Board retained its current officers, confirmed new part-time and full-time positions approved by the Board of Supervisors, and heard that the department is accepting applications and preparing its summer playground brochure for printing by the end of March.

Chairperson Richard Bashore called the Township of Spring Parks and Recreation Board to order at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2025, and the board voted to retain its current officers: Bashore as chair, William Herbine as vice chair and Keith Stamm as secretary/treasurer. The re-organization motion, moved by William Aukamp and seconded by William Herbine, carried 6–0.
