Task force outlines plan to build Wright County public health performance management system

Wright County staff told the Public Health Task Force that county MDH annual reporting covers 46 national measures and described a two-year plan to establish a performance management system that will guide data collection, monitoring and reporting; staff noted 2024–25 reporting results and timelines for future filings.

Joel Torkelson, HHS staff, told the Wright County Public Health Task Force on April 13 that the county’s annual reports to the Minnesota Department of Health cover 46 national measures drawn from the Public Health Accreditation Board and are statutorily required to be filed by the end of the first quarter following the reporting year. He said, “For example; 2025 Annual Reporting was due by 3/31/2026.”
