Madison County Commissioners on Jan. 6 approved a package of routine administrative resolutions for calendar year 2026, including mileage rates, meeting dates, county office hours, locations for posting public notices, and a timeframe for submitting agenda items.
Each resolution was moved by Commissioner William A. Todd and seconded by Commissioner Duke W. Gilman. Vote tallies were recorded as For: Ron Nye, William Todd, Duke Gilman for the several resolutions; motions passed by recorded vote during the new-business portion of the Jan. 6 meeting.
The resolutions were presented without extended discussion; commissioners did not request amendments. The measures are administrative in nature and will govern county procedures for calendar year 2026.
