Board discusses Washburn nuisance properties, considers Iowa Code Chapter 657A acquisition
Assistant County Attorney Michael Treinen told the board June 2 that the county plans to acquire a vacant nuisance property in Washburn under Iowa Code Chapter 657A and demolish it if the owner does not proceed with repairs; the board set July 8 as the date to be prepared to file if no progress is made.
