Planning commission approves three zone changes, forwards athletic‑complex request to council
On June 4 the Lubbock Planning and Zoning Commission approved zone case 3554 (12202 Upton Ave) 8–0, approved zone case 2538QQ (Lubbock Telecom) 8–0, and approved zone case 3521‑A 5–3 to forward to City Council on June 23; staff recommended denying 3521‑A while the applicant sought an athletic complex with a slightly higher building height.
