The major issues identified were naming inconsistencies for the Children and Youth director and conflicting times recorded for the meeting start/adjournment in the transcript; both issues were flagged and explicitly noted in the audit. No substantive factual claims about votes, dollar amounts, or motions were invented; all actions described in the articles are directly supported by the transcript excerpts cited in provenance.
Corrections made in the final articles:
- Noted both spellings "Ashley Baster" and "Ashley Baxter" from the meeting attendance list and did not conflate them; the articles avoid asserting any action attributable specifically to either name where the transcript is ambiguous. - Used the explicit call-to-order time appearing in the transcript ("called to order at 10:16 am") in article ledes but flagged the transcript's other times in the audit for transparency. - Declared missing implementation details (funding sources, start dates, replacement staffing) as "not specified" rather than assuming or inventing information.
