The commission recommended approval of a Planned Commercial Development (PUD/PCD) for a Dy's convenience store and gas station on Nightbox Road after the applicant revised the plan to include a 25‑ to 30‑foot vegetative buffer, an 8‑foot masonry wall, and lighting controls; the western portion of the site is reserved as open space/pond area.

The Clay County Planning Commission recommended approval June 2 of PUD 26004, a Planned Commercial Development proposal for a Dy’s convenience store, fuel pumps and car wash at the Nightbox Road/County Road 220 intersection, after the applicant agreed to additional buffering and design commitments.
