Sidewalk replacement (Resolution 26‑18): The commission approved the 2026 annual sidewalk replacement project, awarding work to JAX Utilities Management at a cost of $104,212; staff said the expense is budgeted in the CIP.
Fees ordinance (Ordinance 5‑26‑74): On final reading the commission adopted an ordinance that relocates city administrative and building‑code fees into a single code chapter and updates the building department fee schedule; staff said the change is expected to generate about $150,000 in additional annual revenue.
Failed motion on interim manager: A separate motion to direct staff to evaluate the interim city manager did not receive a second and failed without a vote.
