The Muskegon County Board awarded a contract to SmithGroup to produce a master plan for Heritage Landing, approving a base fee of $99,990 and a not-to-exceed total of $140,660 to cover travel and optional alternates. The motion, moved by Commissioner Hayes Camp and seconded by Commissioner Herman, included language that the contract award was pending review by corporate counsel and noted the project had been reviewed favorably by the parks commission.
