DuPont council adopts ordinance to align local code with state rules for EV fast-charging
On second reading, the council adopted Ordinance No. 26-1168 to amend DuPont’s municipal code so that fast-charging electric vehicle infrastructure is a primary allowed use in specified commercial and mixed-use zones, aligning local definitions with state law.

On April 14 the DuPont City Council enacted Ordinance No. 26-1168 (second reading), amending multiple sections of Title 25 of the DuPont Municipal Code to align local definitions and land-use tables with state definitions for electric vehicle infrastructure.
