The Norton Charter Review Commission voted June 8 to revise charter language about televised meetings to reflect modern live-streaming practice. A committee member argued the present wording reads like “cable-style broadcasting” and urged wording that explicitly recognizes live streaming and on-demand access on YouTube; the motion carried and the clerk was asked to redraft the provision for counsel review.
