Pinehurst residents urged the River Ridge CDD to make their neighborhood’s persistent flooding a top priority, threatening legal action if the district does not commit resources. Residents of the Pinehurst neighborhood told the River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors on June 25 that repeated flooding — including a tropical storm event June 12–14 — has left streets impassable and created safety concerns.
