Audubon Public Library tells supervisors about programs, digital services and county coverage

Gail Richardson met with the Board of Supervisors on Feb. 18 to present the Audubon Public Library’s annual survey and an overview of services the library provides to county residents.
Richardson said the Audubon library will serve all Audubon County residents regardless of their town of residence and summarized offerings including the Libby app for e‑books and audiobooks, magazines, passport services, lamination, summer children’s reading programs, music‑in‑the‑park events, fax service, public computers and wireless internet. She gave supervisors a recap of library usage from the prior year and discussed potential 28E intergovernmental agreements with smaller cities in the county to formalize service arrangements.
Supervisors received the update; no formal vote or funding decision was recorded in the minutes.
