Forney ISD extends security-guard contract for one year with no CPI increase
The Forney ISD board approved the first of up to four one-year renewals of its security-guard services contract with United Protective Services; the contractor agreed to hold prices flat for the extension and administration recommended approval.

John Chase and administration staff reviewed the district’s existing security-guard contract, which places guards at several campuses including Forney High, North Forney High, Opportunity Center, Brown Middle School and Jackson Middle School. The original contract included options for up to four one-year renewals; staff recommended approving the first extension.
