Committee recommends Wellington’s 2026 equestrian trails capital projects
After reviewing updated cost estimates and locations, the committee recommended the capital project list for the trails master plan—including bridle-trail extensions, culvert work and a pedestrian/equestrian crossing—and moved to forward the recommendation to council by voice vote.

Staff presented the updated equestrian trails master plan and associated cost estimates for projects in the capital program. The list includes the Palm Beach Point bridle extension, C2 canal culvert extension at Owsley, C23 multimodal/bridle connections, and several fencing and trail‑head projects.
