Commissioners approve $1.47 million Optimal Tek contract for district-wide school intercom/PA system
The Board unanimously approved a $1,473,449.49 contract with Optimal Tek to install an IP intercom/PA/bell system across Transylvania County Schools, funded with bond proceeds under Scope 1; Superintendent Dr. Lisa Fletcher said three schools currently have inadequate systems and cited fall implementation as the target.
