Commissioners approve $300,000 IDOC pass-through for Wood Court program
Bannock County commissioners approved passing through a $300,000 Idaho Department of Corrections award to support Wood Court in fiscal year 2027 after a presentation by coordinator Katie Avahouser highlighting the program’s mission and local success.

Katie Avahouser, coordinator for the Bannock County Wood Court, asked the commission on June 9 to continue county pass-through of a $300,000 Idaho Department of Corrections award for fiscal year 2027. "We have been approved to receive $300,000 from the Idaho Department of Corrections to continue our program's funding for the fiscal year 2027," she said, and provided the award letter and budget materials to the board.
