Plan commission backs UDO text amendments, including mobile‑home ban, chicken limits and shipping‑container rules
The Plan Commission voted to forward several proposed changes to the Unified Development Ordinance — including a ban on mobile homes as a land use, clarified exterior metal-panel facade districts, provisions to reduce parking in certain cases, limits and definitions for backyard chickens, and tightened shipping-container rules — with a favorable recommendation to city council.
