The Southwick Select Board voted June 8 to authorize execution of the Sutpen fire engine contract and to have the chair sign the agreement, following confirmation from the fire chief that counsel reviewed the final contract. The chief told the board a clean, final contract was in hand and that earlier strikethroughs in the circulated packet had been removed by counsel.
