A public works presentation on June 10 identified substantial stormwater maintenance needs and a recommended approach to make channels and drainage systems more maintainable. The public works presenter said contractors completed about $7.5 million in contractual maintenance projects over the past 18 months and that a list of additional initial cleanings across tributaries such as Braden River and Gamble Creek is estimated at roughly $18.8 million.
