Adair County Board approves FY26 budget amendment and appropriation increases
The board approved Resolution #2026-34 to amend the FY26 budget and Resolution #2026-35 to increase appropriations for several departments, including a $29,650 increase for the Sheriff’s budget and a $13,477 increase for Veterans’ Affairs; both passed unanimously by roll call.

The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved a public hearing and then adopted a FY26 budget amendment (Resolution #2026-34) and an appropriations resolution (Resolution #2026-35) at its May 20, 2026 meeting. Auditor Mandy Berg presented the published amendments during an open hearing; no public comments were received before the board closed the hearing and voted.
