The Trinity County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted a proclamation recognizing June 2026 as Elder Abuse Awareness Month and urged residents to report suspected abuse and support vulnerable older adults. Health and Human Services said Adult Protective Services served 220 elders in the past year.
