The board likewise approved the annual copy‑paper purchase ($104,243) and purchase orders for bus rails/cameras and bus sales totaling $251,764.50, a district representative said, adding that bus‑garage installation reduces installation costs compared with manufacturer installs.
The board also reviewed and approved the Madison County Schools Police Department standard operating procedures after staff remarks thanking officers who developed the materials. Chair moved and the board approved the SOPs by voice vote.
The board handled the renewals and procurement as routine business with motions, seconds and voice votes; district staff will oversee vendor implementation, licensing and scheduling.
