The Community Development and Renewal Agency (CDRA) of Midway City on June 2 approved its Fiscal Year 2027 budget, adopting Resolution 2026-01 and setting a total budget of $525.
Brad Wilson, CDRA secretary, presented the adopted tentative budget and opened the public hearing required for the adopted tentative budget. Chair Craig Simons then opened the hearing for public comment; no members of the public spoke, and the hearing was closed.
Board Member Andy Garland moved to adopt Resolution 2026-01 to approve the FY 2027 budget. Board Member JC Simonsen seconded the motion. The motion passed with the board recording Aye votes for Garland, Lisa Orme, Andrew Osborne, Kevin Payne and JC Simonsen; the minutes do not list additional votes or dissenting votes.
The meeting materials note that a public hearing was required only for the adopted tentative budget and that the final budget could legally be adopted the same evening as the hearing; CDRA staff recommended against immediate final adoption for larger budgets but noted the FY 2027 budget before the board that night totaled $525.
The board took no further action related to the budget that evening.
