Morrow County adopts Boardman Transportation System Plan by ordinance

"This is a fairly straightforward co-adoption of the City of Boardman's transportation system plan," Mavat said, noting the county applies the plan for development inside the city's urban growth area and that the co-adoption is referenced in the interlocal agreement between jurisdictions.
Mavat asked the board to add exhibits submitted between Feb. 19 and March 11 to the hearing record. The board moved and seconded to add the documents, and the motion carried. After brief deliberation, a commissioner moved to adopt findings in support of ordinance OD-2026-04 to co-adopt the Boardman plan (ATSP-162-26); the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Chair David Sykes, Commissioner Win Holtz and Commissioner Gus Peterson each recorded an affirmative vote.
The co-adoption formalizes the county's use of the City of Boardman's transportation plan for development inside the city's urban growth boundary, as described in the county's interlocal agreement. The board closed the public hearing on the item following the vote.
