Engineer: Fairmont Park path work moving forward; contractor to refresh and blacktop paths

Jeff Shue, the borough engineer, reported that work at Fairmont Park is underway: trees have been taken down and the contractor provided a price to refresh existing pathways. The plan is to level the paths, install matting and complete a blacktop surface using additional funds identified for the project. Shue said the path widths will remain roughly six feet.
