The Rangely Town Council approved several routine items on its agenda, including the October 2025 check register, the 2026 municipal fee schedule and a letter of support for a Bureau of Land Management White River Field Office grant application.
Councilmember Todd Dane moved to approve the October check register; Kyle Ren seconded and the motion carried by voice vote. The council also approved the 2026 fee schedule, effective Jan. 1, 2026; staff said the schedule clarifies fees such as certified VIN inspections and larger meter charges.
Councilmembers voted to approve a letter of support for a Colorado Parks and Wildlife motorized grant application submitted by the BLM White River Field Office to fund two to three seasonal park rangers, a UTV, tools, fuel and maintenance. Supporters said the BLM works well with local volunteer groups and that the grant would assist field operations.
