A motion to fund the second jail navigator position for at least one additional year, with a request that staff present efficacy data at a future meeting, was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Board members stressed the need to evaluate outcomes and requested a presentation or data at a later meeting to inform future budget decisions.
