Facilities Director Rory Gibbing summarized a one‑year maintenance agreement with Shoemaker Elevator Company to cover inspections, lubrication and preventative maintenance for nine county elevators. The contract term runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; the monthly cost reported during discussion was $1,965.55. The board approved the contract by roll call.
The county engineer explained the need to hire a consultant for certified concrete plant inspection required by DOT for upcoming federal‑aid bridge work and recommended awarding the contract to Team Services (lowest responsible quote); the board approved the award.
