Converse County commissioners ratify routine reports, permit assignment and inspection authority

During routine business on Feb. 17 the Board of Commissioners handled several administrative and oversight items.
Commissioners approved the minutes of the Feb. 3–4 meetings and moved to accept February monthly reports with amounts recorded in the minutes (Public Health $15,988.57; Road & Bridge $87,443.16; Sheriff’s Office $3,184.60; NOVC 2025-0577 EOG Resources Inc. $3,568.67).
The board ratified a Request for Assignment of Interest from ONEOK Rockies Midstream LLC related to a bore permit for CR31/Ross Road and ratified a Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality letter for Continental Resources Inc. regarding additional equipment at the Continental Dominion Compressor Station.
Commissioners reviewed facility and construction project updates from FDL Consulting, LLC, and authorized any commissioner, if necessary, to enter into an agreement for additional inspections for the Eastern Wyoming College Construction Technology Addition, with ratification to follow at a subsequent meeting to keep the project moving forward.
HR Director Kristin Watson presented draft policy language on leave-type definitions for future consideration; commissioners provided direction and deferred formal action. The board authorized Watson to enter a contract with Wyoming Health Fairs for a spring blood draw for county employees. The meeting adjourned at 3:48 p.m.
