Red Hook Planning Board approves Rokeby Road mixed-use accessory structure; asks applicants for easement details and sets solar hearing

At its June 1 meeting the Planning Board approved a special use permit for a mixed-use accessory structure at 230 Rokeby Road and a Type II SEQR resolution, asked Choinsky applicants to annotate easements on updated surveys, and set a June 15 public hearing for a 29.48 kW roof-mounted solar array at 4 Toms Way.

The Town of Red Hook Planning Board unanimously approved a Type II SEQR determination and a Special Use Permit for a 1,497-square-foot mixed-use accessory structure proposed at 230 Rokeby Road, after hearing from applicants Erik Schmidt and Sequoia Neiro and a neighboring property owner who asked about anticipated traffic for a massage studio on the site. The applicants told the board the studio would serve about 0–12 clients per week, with no more than two clients on a single day.
