Administration asked the Sumter school board for permission to issue an RFP for a comprehensive facility study to evaluate the physical condition, utilization and educational adequacy of district facilities and to provide prioritized cost estimates and a multi‑year plan. "The purpose of having that study done is to have somebody come in and look at every aspect of it and give us a game plan," the presenter said.
