Board members discussed the policy’s existing limit on service across multiple committees (no more than three committees) and whether that provision remains necessary; members observed it has long been in the policy and may be a holdover. The board agreed to bring the revised policy back for further review with clearer language on oath administration and public notice of openings.
The board did not adopt the proposed rule change at the meeting; staff will redraft and return the item for consideration.
