Selectmen accept Planning Commission resignation and authorize Housing Opportunity Program grant application
At its Feb. 24 meeting the Vinalhaven Selectmen accepted Planning Commissioner Claire Jackson’s resignation and unanimously authorized Town Manager Marjorie Stratton to apply for a Housing Opportunity Program (HOP) Municipal Ordinance Development Grant to support mandated updates to the Land Use Ordinance; the board also directed staff to seek MCOG assistance to update the Comprehensive Plan.
