Tift County approves consultants for CDBG application, unanimous votes

Commissioner Tyler Riddle moved to hire Sunbelt Consulting LLC and authorize the chairman to execute the agreement; Commissioner Donnie Hester seconded, and the motion carried 6-0 with the chairman voting. Later the board approved hiring Watkins & Associates LLC for engineering services on a motion by Riddle and a second by Commissioner Greg Wood; that motion also carried 6-0.
