Planning Commission approves multiple plats and site plans in routine session

The Planning Commission used its February meeting to approve a sequence of routine planning items, including plats and final plats needed for single-family and subdivision development.
Staff presented a replat combining Lot 15 and Lot 16R of Greystone Estates; the commission approved the replat after staff noted two outstanding administrative items (required certifications and removal of a house from the plat).
A final plat for Padilia Acres, a roughly nine-and-a-half-acre parcel on South Second Street zoned R-1 for single-family homes, was approved; staff said only signature certifications remained before recording. The final plat for Going Springs Phase 1B — a 28-lot subdivision that connects to previously approved Phase 1A — also received approval after staff confirmed outstanding water-pump station and meter coordination would be completed.
Commissioners approved each item by roll-call vote with unanimous affirmative tallies. There were no public comments recorded at the meeting.
Next steps: staff will collect certifications and complete required technical checks for each approved plat prior to recording and permitting.
