MPO board adopts INDOT-led amendment adding ADA ramp project on US 52
Summary
The Tippecanoe County MPO Policy Board unanimously adopted Resolution T-26-04 to amend the FY 2026–2030 Transportation Improvement Program, adding an ADA ramp improvement on US 52 in West Lafayette, updating eight projects, and removing a road maintenance project at the Veterans Home.
Doug Poad, staff to the Area Plan Commission, told the MPO Policy Board that the INDOT Crawfordsville District requested changes to the FY 2026–2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), including minor updates to eight projects, one new ADA ramp improvement on US 52 on West Lafayette’s west side, and removal of a road maintenance project at the Veterans Home which will be completed by another agency. The Technical Transportation Committee and APC staff recommended approval.
The board adopted Resolution T-26-04 by a unanimous roll call vote. No public comment was recorded on the amendment at the meeting.
The amendment reallocates TIP listings but does not change the MPO’s policy process; APC staff indicated the change will be reflected in the online TIP documentation and in the APC project tracking materials. APC staff will coordinate with INDOT on implementation timing for the newly programmed ADA ramp project.
