Rockingham County Planning Commission recommends rezoning amendment for 2.716-acre parcel in District 3
The commission voted 4-0 to recommend approval of REZ25-1749, an amendment to proffers on a 2.716-acre portion of Tax Map parcels 125-A-263 and 125-A-261 (R-3 C) after hearing that the change would ease a sale now held by the local property owners' association.

The Rockingham County Planning Commission recommended approval of a rezoning proffer amendment for a 2.716-acre portion of Tax Map #125-A-263 and #125-A-261 in Election District 3 on Jan. 6, 2026. Planner Julia Cottrell introduced REZ25-1749, a request from John and Kathryn Johnson to amend conditions on property currently zoned R-3 C (General Residential with Conditions). Chairman Jordan Rohrer opened the public hearing.
