The council heard a briefing on the city’s request for qualifications (RFQ PW26‑02) to assemble a roster of on‑call engineering consultants for general civil engineering, survey and geotechnical services. City Engineer Emil Schmidt said consultants will be selected for four‑year terms, individual professional services agreements will be executed, and staff intends to present the recommended short‑list on the July 7 consent agenda.
