Mayor Clement explained proposed amendments to Bill No. 24-2534, revisions to Article 1 of Chapter 240 ("Garbage and Refuse") of the Manchester Municipal Code, saying the changes are intended to reconcile the code with operational practices provided by Republic Services and would update 80—90% of the code's non-controversial provisions.
