At the Aug. 4 Atkinson City Council meeting, resident Tim Hamik raised three issues for council attention: a ridge left in front of his driveway after new asphalt was placed, ongoing water drainage problems at the Holt County Shop in south Atkinson that have worsened this wetter year, and why his son's application was held by Gary Thurlow instead of being moved to the Personnel Committee.
