State Representative Carl Sherman told the Lancaster City Council on Sept. 9 that a Blue Zone initiative aimed at improving life expectancy and reducing chronic disease is seeking a 300–500 acre site in Texas House District 109 and asked participating cities to pass a nonbinding joint resolution so advisors will consider them during site selection.
