East Caln updates: Boot Road Bridge foundation issue, sewer flows, emergency-services reports and land-development notes

Engineers and public-safety leaders reported on the Boot Road Bridge foundation remediation, weekly sewer flows (458,174–469,933 GPD across reported weeks), the police station project and a fire ladder truck out of service; the board discussed DARA and Ashbridge Manor land-development matters and received planning and code-enforcement updates.

Township Engineer Michael Schneider told the Board that PennDOT reported a foundation issue in the Boot Road Bridge replacement project; PennDOT said updates are underway and the issue should not affect the planned fall reopening. Pennoni reported the Norwood Road/Wallace Avenue (Route 282) red-light project is under design, and PennDOT provided a signage and restriping plan for Route 113/Norwood House Road with installation expected in upcoming months.
