Avoca council approves Laserfiche document-management purchase
The Avoca Town Council voted to buy Laserfiche Document Center for $5,322 and scheduled setup and training, a move Recorder/Treasurer Nanette Barnes said will support records management and current audits for 2016–2017.

Jon Strickland of Laserfiche answered the council’s questions about the company’s Document Center at the April 10 meeting. Ald. Harry Simons moved to purchase the Laserfiche Document Center at the quoted price of $5,322.00; Ald. Dennis Pinkley seconded the motion and it was approved by acclimation. Recorder/Treasurer Nanette Barnes will contact Jon Strickland to schedule program setup and begin training.
