Council and staff finalize plans for Fun Days: parade, vendors, bands, 5K and fireworks discussed
During a work session after the regular meeting, council and staff coordinated logistics for Fun Days—parade grand marshal selection, band and marching band participation, vendor mapping and security, food truck assignments, 5K routing, breakfast and fireworks timing (target 10 p.m.). Staffing and sign/tent arrangements were assigned.

After adjourning the regular session the Sunset City Council held a work session devoted to Fun Days planning. Staff and councilmembers reviewed and assigned tasks for the parade, car show, vendor layout, entertainment, breakfast, the 5K, and an evening fireworks program.
