Paul Butler described a specific scenario and asked how to find someone who is in the care of a social worker. Meeting participants recommended contacting the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) as a starting point but noted that an individual’s medical history and privacy rules may limit the amount of information that can be shared.
